Single or not, loving yourself should always come as a priority. So if you need an excuse to love yourself a bit more than on a normal day, look to Valentines Day to do just that. Sure, you may say it’s a made-up holiday, but really, who cares? Have fun with it and treat yourself to exactly what you deserve and more. It doesn’t always have to be a box of chocolates, though it does sound good; it could be that candle you have always wanted that you can light after a long day or some new pair of shoes for spring. Whatever it is, trust me, you deserve it.
I thought I would share a few of my favorite items that I can’t get enough of plus some new items I’m waiting to arrive at my door. Sure these items are great to gift your mum, girlfriend, or sister, but it’s always nice to have a little something for yourself.
{{ Striped Shirt – the weather here in SF can change on your in a second, this sweater is a year-round staple.
{{ Striped Pillow – Of course, you need another pillow! This one is at the right price point and so good looking, I really don’t think I need to do any convincing here.
{{ Je T’amie socks – translated, I love you. Just in case you need a little reminder in the morning.
{{ Candle – the most Instagramable candle? Sure, but they really do smell amazing, when you are done, remove remaining wax, clean and use as a vase or to hold makeup brushes.
{{ Gold Bracelet – I wear this bracelet every day, it always makes me smile and the screw element feels very relatable to my design work.
{{ Glass Shadow Box – I love these little boxes to help contain everything from sunglasses to jewelry, keeping my go-to items in view but tidy.
{{ Lip Polish – I am on the constant hunt for scrubs, polishes, and lip moisturizers, I just picked this one up and love it.
{{ Cook Book – I’ve had my eye on this book as I’ve heard wonderful things – can’t wait to try out the recipes.
{{ Spring Ready Slides – I love a good strip and these beauties are making their way to my doorstep – can’t wait to receive them!
{{ Floral Journals – I take notes constantly, either for my design projects or for keeping track of blogging inspiration.
{{ My Everyday Blouse – I love these bouses, slight tuck-in and dressed up with jewelry to switch it up and it comes in five colors.
