I know that the moment I post this weeks’ home tour, I’m going to get a call from some of my close friends telling me how much they love the interior by Will Taylor {If you haven’t checked out his blog, you should! }, who collaborated with One Kings Lane on his and his partners’ beach house in South Hampton. It simply makes you smile style {Will’s tagline }. There are some design risks that were taken, but it still feels classic overall and, best of all, a place where you simply want to hang out. Maybe you are thinking Hampton blues and stripes, but Will keeps you on your toes with green velvet chairs and deep rich colors that keep it from feeling overly beachy or nautical. Touches of vintage and antique mixed with new provide a collected feel that I crave within each interior. I can’t miss the pretty and soft window treatments; Caroline Cecil textiles were used to create flat roman shades providing a tailored look.
