Last weekend, the Mr. and I headed to NYC to celebrate his turning the big 4-0. I had only been to NYC in the winter & am dying to go in the warmer months, but the chilly weather didn’t slow us down one bit! We loved NYC, and we shopped, saw a show, went to some of the restaurants we had wanted to try, & we visited a few speakeasies (love an amazing cocktail, obviously). Overall, it was a fantastic trip; per usual, I made a list of items for our next trip that we just didn’t have time to get to during this visit. Traveling is definitely on the schedule for 2017, and I couldn’t be more excited to travel. All of this hopefully means that we will get back to NYC soon — just when it’s a bit warmer. Huge thank you for all the recommendations; we tried to get to them all.
As always, here are the scenes from the week.

{ Adorable sign in Soho – definitely a neighborhood I love.
{ Picking up treats at Laduree, Soho – hey, it’s his birthday, so I don’t mind if WE do. }
{ Fireclay Tile featured a past progress picture from the #MenloParkRemodel project on their blog, showcasing the tile color Antique, which I am in love with – see it here. }
{ Checked in at the #NopaRemodel which is embarking on phase II – a larger remodel which I can’t wait to start }
I hope you have a lovely, manicured weekend.
