Okay, whoa what a week, right? I don’t know about you, but once again I am ready for the weekend. Last weekend was pretty sweet; B and I took it nice and slow and for good reason! This week was pretty busy, but of course in this line of work that means tons of fun. Still in the electrical phase at the #MenloParkRemodel, but we are moving along and it’s shaping up nicely. Often people tend to rush this phase — likely because the framing is done — they see a house coming together and get excited. Who wouldn’t, right? It goes without saying that you review it and review it again on paper, but there is nothing like walking a job a few times to make sure you have every outlet you need and they’re turned in the right direction.
The #MenloParkRemodel isn’t the only project getting action this week. It was a big week for the #SplitBathroomRemodel, in the NOPA district of San Francisco. Split bathrooms are very common here in SF due to the Victorian and Edwardian homes. While the client has decided to keep the split bathroom, it is going to be completely overhauled. Demo started on Monday and is moving quickly. Friday will be our first round of inspections, and the whole project is to be completed in three weeks. I’m pushing fast on this one as it’s the only bathroom in the house for my client, and I would hate to keep them out of the house longer than needed.
From remodels to treasure hunting, and wedding crafts, this week flew by, and I’m ready to have fun this weekend – which will include my wedding shower! I’m beyond excited to get together with my close friends to celebrate. Huge hugs and kisses to my bestie, Jonelle, for putting it all together!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend; as always here are the scenes from the week.
Dropped into Dropbox to visit my older sister at work, and this is the view heading into the dining area of this stunning tech company.
