Typically, President’s Day weekend is the time of year when I try and snag some great deals for my clients’ homes – especially on appliances. This year, with the American flag waving everywhere I turn, I decided to share some ways to make the flag a feature in a home while ensuring it’s not out of place with a contemporary interior.
Inspiration
I love the idea of using a black and white flag that spans across a wall and can also be used as a headboard. It allows the use of graphics without overwhelming a space and tying one down to a color pallet. Find it here.
A World Cup inspired gallery was created by simply framing flags with, of course, the American flag on top!
I am in love with the American flag inspired artwork in this California cool living room.
This bohemian-style living room is complete with American flag-inspired artwork and with the use of textiles.
With white walls, this large-scale American Flag brings life to the room and compliments the playfully styled bedroom.
The use of an American flag doesn’t have to be in-your-face to have an impact in a room. The use of these pillows, which are made of a textile that vaguely represents the American flag, feel at home in a cool California living room.
What do you think? Do you like the use of a classic American flag in your manicured home?
