Christmas Day is almost here (can you believe it?) Whenever my family gets together, we love to create a festive cocktail or two for each other to try. Okay, who am I kidding? Sometimes we enjoy more than two?! I know I’m not alone in this, but I also know you understand when I say that people tend to mix up whose glass is whose. So, I’ve put together a few quick ideas for you to amp up your festive drinks – no recipes needed! These can help to remind guests which glass is theirs, add a festive scent, and of course, add a memorable touch.
I have to admit, I end up buying tons of craft supplies throughout the year; yet lately, I’ve been really trying to use up what I have on hand. From the fridge to the craft box, here are three ways to add a festive touch to your glassware.

How To: 3 Ways To Get Your Drinks Holiday Ready
Rosemary Wreaths
What You Need – floral wire, scissors, ribbon (in different colors), rosemary.
Directions – Take two sprigs of rosemary and twist two of the ends together (slightly overlapping), and twist floral wine as needed to secure. Snip remaining ends. Add a ribbon at the joint of the wreath as a drink identifier. Wrap around the base of a wine glass or champagne flute and secure with floral wire.
Flagged Cinnamon Sticks
What You Need – cinnamon sticks, scissors, washi tape in a variety of prints/colors.
Directions – With a horizontal piece of washi tape approx 3″ in length, place the cinnamon stick vertically in the center of a strip of washi tape. Bring the two ends of the tape together evenly, and secure together. Snip the end of the washi tape, making a triangle and discard the triangle. Place over the top of a champagne flute.
The Ribbon Touch
What You Need – ribbon in a variety of prints/colors, scissors, star anise, fabric glue or a hot glue gun
Directions (doesn’t get simpler than this guys) – Tie the ribbon around the base of the wine glass or champagne flute, and snip ends of the ribbon at an angle. If you want to add a little something extra, glue down a star anise to the ends of your ribbon for the perfect holiday touch.
