With spring weather upon us, Brad and I quickly realized how our warmer weather wardrobes were in need of a revamp. We headed downtown over the weekend; one of my first stops is always Club Monaco (luckily there is also a Club Monaco Men across the way – so we are, pretty much, each in our own slice of heaven). I find inspiration in so many places for the homes I design — even at times in a clothing store. Club Monaco’s interior is filled calming colors, matte black furnishings, and gorgeous metallic accents that make me want to live in it. Pulling inspiration from the photo below, the sconces, for example, can easily be used to flank a fireplace or above built in cabinets.
Shopping is hard work, as I’m sure you agree, so when we were ready for a break I took the opportunity to take Brad to a place he hadn’t been to before. The Cavalier is a chic restaurant that can be accessed from the street, but I wanted to walk him through Hotel Zetta, which is beautifully designed and unique in its own right. With The Cavalier sharing the same building at Hotel Zetta, it offers great bites, drinks and the perfect spot for brunch – making it a SF must in my book!
Living in San Francisco, there are so many opportunities to take a moment and admire the gorgeous homes that are sprinkled throughout the city. There truly is a style of home for everyone — each making their own stunning statement. We definitely have those pinch-me moments living in a city like this! I spent a bit of time this week on Sacramento Street picking up some home accessories for my clients, and one of my favorite hunting grounds is March (as shown in the photo above). Be prepared, though – it’s gorgeous inside and you will need to implement some serious self-control.
Enough of the yadda yadda. Here, as always, are the scenes from my week!
My current favorite pieces from Club Monaco are, this pump, this necklace (love a statement) and this dress (currently on sale).
Love the interior as much as me? Find similar sconces here, or get the look of the mirrored tables here.
Hotel Zetta is a great spot for an evening cocktail or a weekend stay, and it’s next to The Cavalier. Want a similar sofa? Try this one.
This dining room at The Cavalier reminds me of my childhood summers in England. I love the idea of introducing a wallpaper like this into my own home with a Modern take on the fox and hound motif.
Whether I’m entering or leaving a venue, I love a memorable “moment,” and their tile design doesn’t disappoint.
This Spanish-inspired building right next to a Mid-Century Modern home is one of the reasons, urban hikes can be so fun – again, something for everyone when it comes to architecture.
I hope you have a lovely manicured weekend!
