Last weekend was my birthday {Friday to be exact}, but we continued to celebrate with a day trip to Sonoma and by simply relaxing. Life has just felt a bit of a whirlwind, and I am craving some downtime to soak things in and to get things straight and organized. Life is good; great, in fact, it’s just going fast – isn’t that always the case? It’s not only my bday this month, the Mr turns the big 4-0 next week, and we are off to NYC to celebrate. We are taking in a show, chowing down at great restaurants and hopefully getting in some serious shopping {becuase we deserve it damn it}. If you have any suggestions on where to go, what to see, etc. let me know! I’ve only been to NYC in the winter, but I can’t wait to return next week.
If you didn’t catch the post on my love for a blue velvet sofa and some serious inspo, see it here.
