With a rainy weekend here in San Francisco, I’ve been cleaning the house and prepping to update my home decor from fall to winter. This year will be our first Christmas in our new home, and I can’t help but allow myself to get a bit carried away. It’s not the only thing that will be changing around here; soon you will start to see the final result of the #MenloParkRemodel as well as the #SplitBathroomRemodel, as both will be photographed soon. It’s always bittersweet when a project comes to an end – since the clients and I work together side by side, it’s inevitable that the daily phone calls and frequent meetings will come to an end. The hard work will have paid off and the result is a happy client, yet somehow it’s always sad to leave.
Luckily, there are always more projects, and while some have just finished, I’m starting on quite a few more. Last week was the beginning of the #PacificHeightsBachelorPad, which will result in an eclectic and fun interior matching the owner’s personality. Orders have already been placed and champagne has been opened – be sure to follow along on the journey not only on MyManicuredLife but on Instagram including Instagram stories (sneak peek into the project here and here).
