Whoa, not sure where this week went…I am pretty sure that is how each of the “Scenes From The Week” start. Sorry -unfortunately, that is really how it feels! All of a sudden it’s Friday, and I’m reflecting on the moments through the week that made me stop and admire. Really, though, it’s all about taking those few moments even if at times they are only seconds to stop and enjoy.
Last weekend, Brad and I headed to Berkeley. While we don’t go often, we spent the day on Fourth Street where we perused at the shops before heading to The Rare Barrel – a sour beer only brewery. With multiple beers available with so many flavors (we are talking everything from cucumber to berries), this place is a gem and worth the trip!
The work week was packed full with meetings — the #SFTreehouseProject will finish, I promise! The exterior entry is finally finishing up, and we couldn’t be happier – it was powder coated this week, and I love the black finish. What you can’t see is that directly in front of the door is a cement planter box where bamboo will be planted — keeping the lines clean and contemporary. Did you forget what it looked like last week? See here!
As always, here are the scenes from the week.
Make a stop at Rare Barrel. Beer and grilled cheese — that’s all there is on the menu! Do I really need to say more?
Stunning candles found at The Gardener.
It really does. Bag at Artis Coffee – go here and get the rooibos chai with almond milk – heaven!
This mirror is just asking me to buy it (available in three finishes)! Spotted on Union Street at Anomie.
This morning, I woke up in a way larger bed, new bedding, new mattress – everything. This is where I will be all weekend long!
Hope you have a wonderful, manicured weekend!
