In just a few months, the Mr. and I will be on our way to Italy! I haven’t been in about ten years and the Mr. has never been before, so we couldn’t be more excited. We have been dreaming of this Italian holiday long before our wedding date. We really wanted to go on our honeymoon straight after our wedding, but with all the details that a wedding demands I found that I just couldn’t give it the time required to plan an extensive trip. So, we put it on the back-burner and dubbed our 10 days in Hawaii as our mini-moon. We called it our “mini” to keep us accountable to plan and go on the trip we really dreamed of – a three week getaway in the land of art history, pasta, wine, & everything that we oh so need in our lives right now. So, with a countdown underway, we have our flights and hotels booked and that is it. We still want to figure out go-to restaurants, the landmarks not to miss, as well as experiences and excursions that will be memorable. So, I’m asking all of you, if you have been, I would love to hear your recommendations!
Here is the itinerary thus far
Florence – 5 days, 4 nights
Cinque Terre – staying in the village of Riomaggiore – 4 days, 3 nights
Rome – 4 days, 3 nights
Almafi Coast – 5 days, 4 nights
Capri – 4 days, 3 nights
{ Can’t wait to take in this gorgeous view. }
{ Hopeful to walk off some of the food we will be eating. }
{ Taking our time to take in the sites. }
{ Probably will have too much of this stuff. Which we are totally okay with FYI }
{ We will meander through the gardens. }
So here it is; I’m looking for some help. If you have been, I’d love to know where you stayed, what you loved, where to eat {obviously}, etc. Any and all advice is welcome!
Can’t wait to follow along with your planning! My hubby and I go for two weeks in October!
