I love the thrill of the hunt, and this week there was a lot of treasure hunting to be had from finding the perfect live edge slab for a mantel {Napa project} to sourcing the perfect accessories for a few projects I’m wrapping up. It’s always hard to not get giddy over something for my own home when I’m out on the hunt. Yet, with spring creeping into San Francisco {ever so slowly}, I’m focusing on a few blog posts about editing one’s own home. This week’s home tour provided major inspiration that I simply couldn’t ignore. Who doesn’t want a clean and crisp home, filled with a few items you love rather than space fillers and little items that lack meaning for you?
So while this weekend is once again going to be filled with rain and more rain, I’ll be staying indoors editing. Okay, I can’t lie – I probably will head to The Alameda Point Antiques Faire {see my guide here}, but I promise – I’m just treasure hunting for clients. I need to see exactly what I have before anything else enters my own home.
As always, here are sweet moments captured this week.
{ Pulling accessories for an upcoming photoshoot – the bird is necessary. }
{ Finally the rain stopped in SF and Spring looks like it’s on it’s way! Also, this was taken right before Rufus ran over my feet with his muddy paws. }
{ Quick stop to take in the view while visiting a client’s project in Napa. }
I hope you have a lovely, manicured weekend!
