Living on the coast is a dream of ours, but given that we’re still enjoying the city life, home tours like this one will have to do for now. Shiplap and multiple shades of white are calling my name, but what I love most is the amount of character in the home. The vintage items mixed with new furnishings provide the perfect balance to create visual interest throughout. Texture can also be found with every turn, from the fireplace to the shiplap walls and the natural fiber rugs. The shiplap adds enough life into the space that artwork can be minimal, letting the walls speak for themselves.
Layering is key when warming up all these white walls. Take note of the blankets near the fireplace laid over gorgeous leather x base ottomans and piles of pillows that make the formal living room feel inviting and lived in. Who wouldn’t want to live here?
