When I first heard of Caitlin Wilson, it was from reading about how this #girlboss is bringing bright, preppy, and touches of gold to interiors with her textile line. When I had a chance to met her at the Las Vegas Market years ago — think it was 3 years ago – time flies — she was as sweet as her approachable-and-fresh line of pillows.
So, when I heard that a new design shop was coming to San Francisco, I was beyond excited that it was Caitlin Wilson Textiles. While B and I didn’t have any concrete plans this Saturday (taking it slow as possible these days), I did make sure that we made time to stop by her new design store that had just opened the day before.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by her husband, Brigham, who was busily making the showrooms’ bed and styling it to perfection along with a few other finishing touches. We chatted about the now expanded line, how their products are made, and where they hope to see it expand. It’s so nice to see a supportive partner to a designer – it’s not easy to understand us or keep up with us:-) Having B in tow with me while I check out new shops and chat with designers is not uncommon, but it was extra nice for him to have a little bonding moment while I drooled over each and every item.
The shop is full of stunning pillows, rugs, a settee, wallpaper samples, small soaps, and candles. Since they offer customizable options, it’s a great showroom for me to visit alone or with a client to discuss all the possibilities.
Caitlin Wilson is located in the heart of Pacific Heights at 412 Presidio Avenue.
If you don’t live in San Francisco, you can shop her line of rugs, pillows, wallpaper, and furniture here.
