While a city girl at heart, I still dream of the countryside of my childhood – summer days exploring the rolling hills in England. This home strikes a perfect balance between country and urban that makes me swoon with envy. With an overall neutral pallet throughout, it feels clean and simple, yet the use of texture and warm wood tones make the space inviting. This color pallet provided the opportunity for the designer, Bennett Leifer, to introduce edgier, urban chic pieces (see above photo) into the home to keep you intrigued. The way the home is accessorized makes me want to explore each shelf, as every item appears to have a story behind it.
I’m particularly fond of the Contemporary lighting over the dining table, as I just purchased this piece for my SF Treehouse Project here in SF. This image just makes me even more eager for its arrival – I seriously can’t wait for it to be installed!
At the bottom of this post I have included a “get the look” section with product links, so you can achieve this look in your own home.
