New York City is one of those special places: styles and tastes blend; architecture stays the same yet is ever changing. When I first discovered this home, I couldn’t help but dive right in and imagine myself living there. Even at the front door your jaw would be on the floor from the dark painted trim and the stunning arch greeting you. If you were lucky enough to cross the threshold, you would be greeted by an interior filled with natural light, flowing from the living room to the kitchen. From the unexpected pops of color within the artwork to the strategic use of paint or the rich blue tile in the kitchen, you will want to explore each corner of the home. It is the two children’s bedrooms that touch on a trend that you too can easily achieve (see post here). Even the wallpaper in the children’s bathroom would have me giddy if it were mine. There are elements of surprise in this house, of course — a stunning backyard and kitchen details that seem, well, perfect.
Living in New York isn’t easy; living in a Brownstone in New York is a dream. While I doubt I’ll ever live in one, I love going back over these stunning images again and again.
With so many gorgeous elements that make up this home, be sure to find my “Get The Look” at the bottom of this post!
Would you live in this manicured home? I know I would!
