Lifestyle Scenes From The Week

Scenes From The Week

August 24, 2017

This week has been full of joyful events. One client in particular, who was bouncing around her home in the beginning of the week with excitement, started the week off great. The client had just witnessed her countertops and backsplash tile installation, and to say that she was overjoyed is an understatement.  The client chose to live in the home while it’s being remodeled, and anyone who has taken this on understands how difficult it can be to live in the midst of it all. Other client projects are well underway, while some are waiting to break ground until I return — but there are lots of boxes to check off before that happens. New client projects were discussed, and to say it will be busy for the rest of the year makes me smile from ear to ear.  I’m so thankful for each of my clients but also the opportunity that the Mr. and I have in front of us with our upcoming trip to Italy. It will be a long vacation, and we simply can’t wait for the plane to touch down to take in the sights and to just relax. I’ll still be posting to Instagram and MML, so be sure to keep an eye out for some travel posts and of course some stunning interiors.

{ p.s. if anyone is an expert packer, please come over as I’m in desperate need of help. big hugs. }

As always, here are the scenes from the week.

{ Above: a bright entry even during our gray cold summer months. }

{ Searching for the perfect piece of art for this client’s stairwell – doesn’t hurt to tack it up prior to committing. }

{ Can’t get enough of some the details on the way to one of our projects in Burlingame, California. }

{ I love this home, though I’m not sure I’d want to live in it. It makes me smile each day as I walk past. Would you live in a home like this? }
