This week has been one of those fast moving, fly by the seat of your pants kind of weeks. That said, last weekend was so fun and relaxing that it got me ready for the days that lay ahead. From watching the Blue Angels soar over the city during Fleet Week to relaxing on the beach and soaking in the late summer weather (that actually arrived…wasn’t sure if it actually would show up or not this year), with my Mr, sister, and her Mr, was just what I needed. Of course, we managed to check out some local shops that I had not yet discovered (is that even possible?).
Heading into the week there has been some progress over at the #MenloParkRemodel with floors going in, meeting with new clients, finalizing the last bits and pieces on a couple projects and, of course, I worked in some fun with my two sisters. We caught the new Bridget Jones movie – it was exactly what I would expect it to be — easy to watch and fun. Definitely recommend grabbing a friend and catching up with your really good friend, Bridget.
Today, I have a photoshoot at my own house on my latest DIY project that makes me smile from ear to ear, so stay tuned!
As always, here are the scenes from the week.
Fall colors at Ocean Beach.
Shopping at the General Store.
Lunch at Judahlicious, a delicious vegan spot not far from the beach. B still almost starved.
Progress at the #MenloParkRemodel – oak 8″ floors are going in.
A pop of pink at the dog park.
I hope you have a lovely, manicured weekend!
