With our first proper week back in San Francisco after returning from our honeymoon we are hitting the ground running. While the wedding and our relaxing honeymoon are over, it feels good to be back in our lovely city and settling back into our home. I had put off all design projects on our own home to concentrate on all the wedding, now that I have my free time back I spent last weekend having choregasam moments. Choregasim – noun – to complete a task within the home that lifts it to a whole new organized level leaving you with a euphoric feeling (will be added to the dictionary soon enough).
I’m working on a little DIY post that is so simple but has made the biggest impact on our den – I can’t wait to share it with you all. The other was simple enough but oh so lovely – Brad and I apparently like to collect shoes and while there are multiple closets in the home, we really wanted all of his in one place. We have a fairly large hall closet and with two coat racks on one side, we added four shelves to the other side that now hold all of his shoes, our Vespa helmets, and my Hunter boots, this = choregasam.
It wasn’t all house projects this week though, I’m finishing up multiple projects and working the calendar hard to get photoshoots done, collaborations for My Manicured Life finalized, and of course continuing work on my client projects.
Tell me, have you been working on any small projects that has made a huge impact on your home? If not, it’s almost the weekend and the perfect time to start!
As always, here are the scenes from the week.
Bringing in some lovely fall decor – I’m loving all the soft colors.
Found the prettiest combination of wallpapers – can’t wait to use these!
Waiting for cabinets to arrive at the Menlo Park Remodel.
Hope you have a lovely, manicured weekend!
