With not one but two NEW projects underway for Julia Goodwin Design, #MenloParkRemodel and #FlipitDailyCity, this week has been a bit of a blur but so much fun! It’s important to me to make time for myself, whether that is a getting a quick mani, taking time for my morning workout or treating myself to a cup of tea and some quiet time with a good book in my garden. Taking time to oneself and learning to say no to work is a struggle that we all deal with, though it’s so important. It was hard lesson to learn my first few years out of college, but I will never forget it. This week, I joined a running group, and while it is beyond painful there have been some laughs along the way. The best part is getting to run with friends and take in all the gorgeous homes, such as this one. Even if we are struggling to make it up the steep hills (and I mean steep!), these views make it nice!
I didn’t have my phone on when I first ran by this home the first time, so I went back this week to STOP and admire it!
This past weekend Brad had to leave for a work trip, so I hit the beach with our dog, Rufus – it was crazy windy but gorgeous none-the-less (per usual)
Demo is beginning next week on the #MenloParkRemodel, and I am loving these patterned marble tiles for the master bathroom!
Remodels are messy before pretty, though I’m kinda digging the color combo here.
Hope you have a wonderful manicured weekend!
