It’s always interesting to hear how clients feel regarding their beds. With each client and each project being vastly different from the next, so are my clients’ opinions on upholstered vs. non-upholstered beds. While I love them both, I want to round up my top TEN non-upholstered beds.
Why should you consider a non-upholstered bed?
With wall hangings and macrame making a huge comeback this year, this headboard is sure to win over quite a few with its light texture that draws you in without overwhelming a room.
A beautiful handmade bed, so naturally no two beds are made alike. With a natural sheen, this gorgeous bed adds instant luxe to any bedroom.
From the stunning curves to the cool black finish, this headboard is what dreams are made of. While dark, it’s rich in color and curves. Those curves break up the straight lines found in the room yet mimic the curve of the horse’s back featured in the artwork. This one is at the tippy top of my wish-list!
If you resonate with a California cool style, consider this showstopper of a bed for your room.
Sometimes, clean, elegant, and simple wins the race.
You didn’t think I would have a top ten without sneaking in a brass bed, did you? Hello, gorgeous! Bring in an unexpected finish to keep others guessing while keeping the room warm and inviting.
How I can pick only ten, I’m not sure! This wood overlay headboard is a must have! Typically, headboards take up less space than footboards, making them perfect for a narrow room — great for renters as they most often will fit in the next place — where footboards may take up valuable space.
This headboard is sure to add drama to your space, still keeping it clean and neutral allows you to play with color in the linens.
This bed is the perfect balance between a woven and wood, bringing warmth and texture to any bedroom.
This bed is beyond lovely with a shape that provokes interest while providing an elegant touch.
Will you add any of these non-upholstered headboards to your manicured bedroom?
